Are Vapes Illegal in NSW and ACT? Vape Laws Explained

In New South Wales and the ACT vaping is legal, but it is subject to various restrictions:
- The use of vapes with e-liquid containing nicotine with a valid doctors prescription is legal
- Importing nicotine for personal use from overseas is legal, with a prescription from a doctor
- The sale of vapes or e-liquids containing nicotine is illegal, unless being sold from a pharmacy
- It is illegal to vape in smoke-free zones (indoor and outdoor)
- Selling any vape to people under the age of 18 is illegal
- Using vapes in cars with children under the age of 16 is illegal
- Vape products and advertisements cannot be seen by the public within our outside of the store
